Hey hey it's MJ,
I know I've been gone for a year, but I've been busy with University and a new relationship so what can I say? Tough titty. Now that we've cleared that up, let's move on and get this annoying and awkward first post out of the way so we can just move on. Sound good? I think so too, so le'go.
Okay, so interesting happenings in my life. I moved about four hours away from my home in Toronto, and I'm now attending University, which is awesome. I'm living with a purple-haired RCMP employee and her crazy cat...if a crazy lady owns multiple cats that makes her a "crazy cat lady", so would this crazy cat be a "crazy human feline"?
I'm in a relationship which is super happy fun-time. He's really funny and a bit of a nerd or geek or...whatever, which is pretty fantastic. Because of him I've gotten back into comics and graphic novels and gaming, so if anyone out there has any game, comic, g.novel or manga recommendations, hit me up and let's talk.
I will be attending Anime North for the first time this year with my youngest sister, who wants to cosplay as Princess Mononoke, she's pretty psyched. I'm probably going to focus on her costume and not cosplay; maybe I'll dress in 1940s fashion or something, that'd be super happy fun-time.
I've gotten two tattoos since I first started blogging: one is a double-disc z-rod, which is a lost scottish symbol, and the other is a treble clef and base clef combined and connected with a cross, in memory of my Grandfather who passed away last year.
I'm still writing, which is awesome. I'm working on a story which I'll probably end up rewriting; spoiler alert, there's a bird in it.
Well that's about it, if you're still reading this then I applaud you, your amazing endurance and your willpower, and in the name of shameless self promotion I'm going to have to at least ask that you share this blog with everyone but Stalin, because he's dead and probably wouldn't enjoy it.
